Program Description:

Minnesota MorrisUniversity of Minnesota - Morris

UMM is an undergraduate liberal arts campus of the University of Minnesota. UMM offers courses leading to a bachelor's degree in 35 disciplines, as well as coursework in seven pre-professional programs. The University of Minnesota, Morris is one of the most respected public liberal arts colleges in the nation because of its instructional excellence, a select, intellectually-gifted student body, a commitment to collaborative research between students and faculty, extracurricular programs and services, and a strong sense of community. At UMM, students experience close, direct contact with faculty, affording ample opportunities in service learning and internships. UMM is currently providing 70 percent of its electrical usage from wind power, and its biomass gasification plant displaces 80 percent of fossil fuel usage. UMM students come from throughout Minnesota, 32 other states and 15 countries. The student body is predominantly of traditional college age.
