With more than 40 programs of study, Keene State College prepares students to think critically, act creatively, and serve the greater good. The 170 acre Keene State campus generates the ambiance of a small New England College, with ivy-covered buildings, grassy commons, and brick walkways. Living on campus is the choice of over 2700 students and residence halls at KSC are strong, vital communities in which students feel included and free to make their own unique contributions. Nearly 100 societies, clubs, academic, sport, and social organizations provide a multitude of co-curricular learning experiences.Keene State College founded in 1909, is situated in the charming town of Keene, located in the heart of New England. Keene is the largest town in the southwest corner of New Hampshire and is known for its picturesque Central Square, shops and restaurants. There is a wide range of outdoor and social activities that take place in Keene while Boston is less than two hours away.

Campus Location

On Main Street in Keene, N.H., the largest town (pop. 23,000+) in southwestern New Hampshire. The College is only a few minutes' walk to Keene's lively downtown. It's an easy drive to Boston or VT.
