Universite de Sherbrooke main campus is situated on the flank of a "Mont-Bellevue" on 300 hectares or green space. The area offers all the advantages of the city life in a delightfully natural setting. It is a French-speaking institution with nine faculties (including a school of music). Academic programs are innovative, and some are very unique in their method of teaching. The University offers a popular French as a Second Language program that gives students the opportunity to perfect the language through classes in oral and written French. UdeS houses the Salle Maurice O'Bready Concert Hall, which presents theater, comedy and concerts. The Sports Center on campus offers excellent facilities and a newly built football stadium. Public transit is FREE for all UdeS students!!!

This list is maintained by the host NSE coordinator and is kept up-to-date. All classes taken while on an NSE exchange will transfer back as LSU credit. The LSU NSE coordinator will work with you to determine course equivalencies.

The language of instruction is French. No French proficiency report is required at the time of placement to participate in the French as a Second Language program. Students will be invited to take our institutional placement test during the Summer. According to the result to this test, a list of classes is suggested to each student. For all other programs, students must take our online French Placement Test prior to placement to demonstrate they have an advance French proficiency.
