Program Description:


ENGR 2050 - Class Field Trip

Calling engineer, computer science and construction Management majors:  come join us on an excursion to Seattle over Fall Break.  This education experience will provide opportunities to learn about emerging technologies and explore exciting career opportunities.  

Space is limited.  Priority will give to those who sign up early. Please read the withdrawal schedule carefully before applying to the program.

Spending money: Although some meals are provided, you should plan for additional expenditures, including meals not covered by the program fee, snacks, souvenirs, and outings with friends.

Course Description
ENGR 2050 Undergraduate Seminar

In order to participate you must be enrolled in ENGR 2050 for the fall semester. If you sign up for the field trip and later drop the ENGR 2050 course, you may have to pay for part or all of the trip based on your withdrawal date.

Eligibility & Withdrawal

In order to be eligible for the program, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old by the first day of the program
  • Not be on disciplinary or scholastic probation
  • Be enrolled in ENGR 2050 for the fall semester 2016
Application Deadline
August 15, 2016

Although the application deadline is August 15, you are advised to register early in order to secure a spot in the program. The program will fill on a first come, first served basis from those who meet the eligibility requirements. 

Because payments will be made to hotels and airlines on your behalf starting at the end of November, there is a penalty if you withdraw from the program after August 1, 2016, even if you do not go on the program. The amount that you will owe is based on the date on which you withdraw. The schedule of payments is:

Withdrawal after August 15 $250 non-refundable deposit will be paid
Withdrawal before September 10 $600 fee will be paid
Withdrawal after September 10 Entire program fee will be paid
