Program Description:

Inter American San GermanInter American University of Puerto Rico, San German

The campus is located in the historical, tradition-rich town of San German, the second oldest settlement in Puerto Rico. 260 acres of lush vegetation and hills account for the most beautiful campus on the island. Some of the town's highlights are the 17th Century Porta Coeli church, the church of San German de Auxerre, old narrow colonial type streets and lovely old homes. The blue fierce waters of the Atlantic and the blue-green waters of the Caribbean are 20-30 mins. away from the campus. The town is 20 min. away from a large, modern shopping mall. The campus, founded in 1912 is the original site of the nine campus of IAUPR, the oldest and largest private univ. on the island. In this bilingual campus of distinct international flare, more than 30 countries are rep., even though most students are Puerto Rican. The opportunity to study in a Spanish speaking environment-yet not so different from their own-has proven to be a wonderful experience, highly praised by those who visit.

Campus Location

The University is in the southwest part of the island.

Helpful Information
