One university. Two great names. IPFW is a unique combination of Indiana's two major public universities. These resources have been combined to create high quality programs on a beautiful regional campus. Situated on a 600-acre setting along the St. Joseph River, IPFW serves 14,000 students and offers more than 190 degree options. Noted fields of study are: engineering, technology, liberal arts, music, music therapy, organizational leadership, public and environmental affairs, and visual and performing arts. Small class sizes, highly accessible award-winning professors, and nationally recognized speakers enhance IPFW's academic environment. The Mastodons compete in 14 men's and women's NCAA Division I sports, including the renowned men's volleyball program. Student housing offers single, double, and quad apartment suites complete with kitchens, furnishings, and easy access to academic buildings. Free parking is available for NSE students!
Set in the heart of Indiana's beautiful northeastern woodlands, Fort Wayne, population 253,000, is truly a perfect mix of "Hoosier Hospitality" and big city opportunities complemented by a low cost of living.
IPFW is Plan B open. We accept all eligible students. Upon acceptance into the IPFW NSE program, students will need to successfully complete the IPFW application process, including answering behavioral background questions, which may be found here.
