Program Description:

South Dakota StateSouth Dakota State University

South Dakota State University was founded as a land-grant institution in 1881. For more than 130 years, SDSU has maintained an outstanding reputation for providing a quality education to students from almost every state as well as over 59 foreign countries. SDSU is the largest university in South Dakota with an enrollment of 12,583 students. The 360-acre campus is the most beautiful and spacious in South Dakota. SDSU offers over 200 academic programs to choose from and over 200 clubs and organizations to get involved with while attending the university.

SDSU is located in Brookings, a community of 22,056 in the farmland of eastern South Dakota. The city of Brookings provides its residents with many outdoor activities including hunting, camping, fishing, and cross country skiing. When in South Dakota, you must experience the western part of the state and see the scenic Black Hills, the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore and the famous Wall Drug Store.

SDSU is located in Brookings, South Dakota, a community of approximately 22,056. The city is 50 miles north of Sioux Falls, a city of 153,000. Brookings is on the eastern part of the state.
