Program Description:

UW Eau ClaireUniversity of Wisconsin - Eau Claire

Known as Wisconsin's most beautiful campus, UW-Eau Claire spans the banks of the Chippewa River in the heart of Eau Claire. Western Wisconsin's largest city, Eau Claire is located 90 miles east of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Named for its clear water, the city has a population of over 66,000, yet is consistently ranked as one of the safest in the country. The Eau Claire area has numerous lakes, parks, bike trails and wooded areas where students enjoy seasonal sports, camping, and other recreation activities. The renowned Chippewa River footbridge connects the main campus to other academic bulidings and numerous shops.

As the UW System's Center of Excellence for faculty and undergraduate research, professors work closely with students inside and outside the classroom, conducting research, participating in national conferences and publishing scholarly articles. UW-Eau Claire is ranked among the top public regional universities in the Midwest by U.S. News & World Report magazine.
