The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is a public, student-centered institution where teaching and learning are genuinely valued. Part of the world-renowned University of Wisconsin System, UW-River Falls was founded in 1874, and is nationally recognized for outstanding academic offerings in a wide range of program areas. Small classes, and close interaction with faculty, provide for a very rich "hands on" learning experience.

Located in River Falls, Wisconsin, a town of 12,500, UW-River Falls students have easy access to shopping, dining, entertainment, and outdoor recreation - all within a within a 5 minute walk of campus. Just 30 minutes away is the heart of the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN metropolitan area. Such close proximity to the "Twin Cities" provides easy access for students who wish to participate in professional internships, major league sports, and cultural and fine arts programs. The UWRF campus community is deeply committed to diversity and inclusivity.
